Gabby Petito

This case impacted me because Petito was not only around my age but also a woman. She had so much more to give, but was not given the opportunity. One of her last chances to get away from her alleged killer was in the face of the law, and she was let down. Not only did she not get the help she needed, but she was also seen as the perpetrator.
